Is actually Aliciamarie Whittington, a young woman living in Michigan with her family. She very much enjoys writing fiction, but likes reading it more. Dean Koontz is her favorite author ever, and eventually she hopes to summon the guts to write to him. Licia loves to dance and go on random adventures of the ADD variety. She has a cat whom she was forbidden from naming Magi and a fiery passion for debate that is rather unexpected for someone of her general personality. She loves a long list of random and unimportant things, and has a rather odd idea about the definition of Romance.
Ms. Whittington has a passion for the English Language and a profound respect for the written word. The ideas conveyed through language in areas such as philosophy, theology, and the workings of man and civilization are of particular fascination, as is the preservation and sharing of ideas. With that interest, is History. Avidly interested in the history of civilization and the continued development of mankind and it’s innovations, Licia finds human beings to be a wonder. Government fascinates her, modern day politics closely observed and their impact considered and understood.
She believes that mankind’s greatest foes are ignorance and stubbornly held viewpoints that deafen the mind to new information.
She loves debate. Two opposing sides clashing, facts, supporting statements and the use of language all used in sync as wielded weapons-it is not always the proving of her point that matters, but the gained knowledge of the other side, and the compromises that can be reached on the ‘correct’ and unskewed view of things.
The application and enforcement of American Law is another interest, closely tied with her interest in government. She intends to study Law after obtaining her Bachelors degree, majoring in Criminal Justice, and minoring in Political Science. Criminal and Constitutional law are her main areas of interest.
She also has a deeply religious belief in God, and does not care who knows it.
